Head Office Renovation

Employee feedback was the catalyst

In 2018, feedback in employee hearings to promote work style reform suggested that, despite being an office building operator, our office buildings were not adapted to today’s needs. This was the catalyst for renovation.
Then, in 2020, we formed an office renovation project team, centered on younger employees, which deepened discussions in workshops with members from various departments. The result was a new direction of “stimulating new office demand by pursuing new ways of working in offices.”

Stimulating new office demand

We aimed to create “An Office You’ll Want to Visit More Tomorrow.” By removing the cabinets that divided departments, we created a space where people naturally interact. Installation of a wide variation of furniture gave employees a choice of seating, and more locations were provided for meetings and online conferencing.
We invite customers to inspect our “live office” to promote the value of working in an office.

VIEWPOINT

Translating insights from our head office renovation into client solutions

I took part in discussions in cross-divisional workshops that provided a valuable opportunity for me to change my own mindset, as I felt a growing sense of unity with each passing session. Since transferring to the sales department, I plan to use my experience in the head office renewal project to help more clients rediscover the value of their offices.
