Section 6. Toward Our 100th Anniversary and Beyond

Daibiru is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2023. In 2022, we made a fresh new start as a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, and it is imperative for us to contribute to the development of local communities, society, and the world through our strong partnership with our parent company.

Until now, we have been thoroughly committed to constructing buildings and creating towns as a result, but we need to construct buildings with town creation as our focal point from now on. Through co-creation with numerous stakeholders, we will need to construct office buildings, commercial buildings, and hotel buildings from a town creation standpoint. It is the same with our operations in Vietnam, Australia, the U.S., and even India, where we are now specifically considering expansion.

We will continue to uphold the spirit of sustainability as exemplified by the rooftop garden on the Shin-Daibiru Building and to pursue environmental conservation and the SDGs, which have become shared issues faced by all humanity.

Under the slogan “BUILD NEXT.”, which we have adopted for our 100th anniversary, we are about to embark on the next 100 years with the courage and spirit to change what needs to be changed while we preserve and appreciate the intentions of our predecessors, which have been handed down from one generation to the next over the past 100 years.
