9. Launching the Head Office Renovation Project

In August 2021, the Head Office Renovation Project was launched. Working outside the office had become widespread due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and as people began quietly suggesting that offices were obsolete, it became necessary for office building operators to reexamine the role of centralized offices. This project was launched in the hope of stimulating new office demand by pursuing new ways of working in offices. After interviews with management executives and analysis of the results of a survey of executives and employees, Daibiru came up with a renovation concept it called “Spiral Up! An Office You’ll Want to Visit More Tomorrow.” Daibiru decided to implement this renovation plan, which incorporates the idea of “giving you positive feelings when you visit,” on the sixth floor of the Daibiru-Honkan Building. Basic design began in August 2021, and the project was completed in December 2023.
